We paid extra for a superior room and were happy to do so. The room - fabulous. The restaurant- wonderful. For me, my best hotel meal on the Camino including Paradors and other high end hotels. It is not a cheap place to stay in but is tranquil and has historical significance associated with the 15th century tower. If I do this pilgrimage again I'll definitely be back. PS the owner also personally greeted us - Nice touch

We loved the quiet location - listening to the birdsong in the evening and morning was stunning. We hadn’t booked food but as there isn’t anywhere close by we asked to book when we arrived.
