10 minute walk from the station. Our room on the 5th floor had beds rather than futons on the floor. There was a microwave and kettle in the room which was clean. The staff spoke reasonable english and were helpful.

What a gem in the craziness that is Kyoto! Waking up with the smell of fresh baking and knowing you get to taste that deliciousness... Yum yum yum! We stayed 4 nights and had 4 different excellent and tasty breakfasts! A decent sized twin room with comfy beds and room for our big luggages. Ok, yes, the bathroom is on the small end but we thought it rather cute and funny 😁 The warm hospitality of this family is genuine and feels good.
