Yoshi-san is really accommodating! She's a friend, a drinking buddy, and a tour guide all in one <3 Thank you so much for the comfortable and homey stay. I love the rooms and everyone's so friendly! There's a convenience store nearby and the surrounding area is quiet.

The owners were some of the best people I've met. They are so warm and friendly. The place itself is very clean and well organized. Free miso soup, tea, and coffee in the common area was also very welcomed! There's even a bathtub for those who prefer that over a shower. Very well recommended for anyone to stay!

First of all, I was so surprised to the handmade breakfast, the host served me and my lil bro the simple but delicious and sincere breakfast during our stay. The second is the host was so friendly. As the weather in Hokkaido was freezing in January and he picked us up from the very cool night, he is really kind person and we’re really appreciated. Besides, we love the design of the house, it was designed by the host himself, as we never stay in the Japanese house before so this was definitely the first experience for us, we’re curious and love it. My brother and I spent the lovely day and made many memories in Sapporo, especially the stay in Shabby, I rated it 10/10 because the max of the rate is 10. We’re really appreciated to meet the host(Can’t explain, you’ll feel it when you meet him and sorry for forgot your name). Thank you so much, we will be back in the future, all the best!!

A great helpful informative friendly economical experience towards the end of my stay in Japan. Very clean and stylish; cosy bunk beds well supplied with inner lights, portals and so on. Nice simple satisfying breakfast. Best of all the owner/managers, Michi and Eric, obviously efficient and experienced but also super welcoming -- almost like family to all of us. Even supplied me with perfect fresh green stuff to make up for previous difficulties finding veggie food in Japan, AND drove me (an Old Lady) and my dense heavy suitcase to the station, wow! BTW, travellers, look out for free cultural events in Sapporo; the "Ocho" is very near a beautiful park and concert hall and museums, a highly propitious environment. I very strongly recommend the Guest House (but book early, they're very busy in high seasons).

Recently renovated apartment, which was also cleaned very well. Very good location walking distance from the Otaru Park and Susikino (Snow Festival locations). The dining/kitchen area is spacious and well equipped. Very nice hosts - they managed to arrange early check-in for us and communication was excellent.

Highly recommended.. Very good host, they served us everything including salt, sugar, bread, milk, plenty of snacks, soft drinks, fruits and pastries. The owner had swipe fallings snow on my rental car every morning before we drive away.. The house very clean.. Will stay here again if travel to Sapporo in future ..Arigato Gozaimasu AKKO'S Guest House.
