Really good breakfast, in a cozy room with music. The hotel is near a pizza place which is great for dinner and take away. The room has a balcony that is shared. For a 5 hour go and return you can visit a great gorge - it is an amazing place to do a short hike. The owner is really friendly!

The staff is really welcoming and friendly. They offered us everything that we needed and nice conversations. The room was neat and tidy, looked really nice and the bed was comfy. The view is wonderful. They have cute pets too. We went for a hike and there are many hiking options around, the mountainside is amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Avalanche. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs and enjoyed the incredible view of the Piatră Craiului mountain. We booked it for two nights originally but decided on the spot to extend our stay! The property is incredibly clean (I can’t stress how clean it is!), and designed for comfort and relaxation. Every single area (bedrooms, lounge, bathrooms, terrace, garden) is designed with space and comfort in mind. The temperature in every area of the house was perfect (average 22 degrees). There’s no compromise on quality of the building itself and furnishings. The large beautiful windows were perfectly designed to enable you to take in the views. It’s cosy yet incredibly spacious - a wonderful blend! There were no children in our group but there were plenty of comfy beds for children to sleep in and areas to hang out. We made full use of the barbecue and did not miss having a stove; the microwave and coffee machine covered all basics. One of the highlights for us were the little birds that would knock the downstairs windows with their beaks in the morning. So cute! We went for walks, we enjoyed meals at the nearby restaurants/larger cottages, we spent time reading, played board games, garden games, we simply had a wonderful time and are keen to return - hopefully in the winter!

House was very warm modern.. with nicely detailed furniture everywhere to make it super homely. Great hot shower with hi-tech central heating, sustainably powered by biomass. The host, Monica was very welcoming, and was very patient in communicating with me through charades, Spanish and translate app. She makes the most delicious smoked cheese and a tasty ¿Rosehip? jam that confused me totally at first as I thought it was some tomato ketchup. She offered a few traditional meals and also gave total acces to fully equipped kitchen. And was forthcoming with information and maps to describe the area and it's attractions. They are building more accomodation overlooking the farm animals and other mountains ranges.. great visionaries and it's pretty advanced in construction so you may be able to stay there soon too. Looks really delightful with mansard roof views for coffeeoverlooking the mountains. I don't usually write review but would give this place 20 stars if I could!!
