Its a true pleasure staying at Mounthaven guesthouse. Run by a friendly couple who make great efforts to make youre stay one of the best possible. Especially the breakfast with home grown fresh fruit (september stay) was the best. The elevated position of the house makes you get the best views to the dart river and dartmouth.

Lovely welcome from our host, Chris, who was lovely with our grandson, showing him the family guinea pigs. The family room we had was huge, with a spacious en suite. Everything was super clean, and breakfast was served to the conservatory table; a tray piled with cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and warm croissants was plentiful, and the coffee was fresh and refills were happily provided. Chris also catered for a gluten free eater with gf crumpets and granola. The house is a one minute walk from all the shops and places to eat in Braunton-, which is a really nice village. Off road parking was useful, and the gorgeous beaches at Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay area both only a 10-15 minute drive away.

Tina is a force of nature: absolutely amazing! She opened her home to us and made our holiday *perfect*. I have seen my fair share of CLEAN places, but this one was an entirely new level of cleanliness--and the breakfasts were the cherry on top. (Some days, literally.) I'm afraid she has ruined all our future holidays though: the bar is set so high now that most likely it cannot ever be reached again.

JJacqui & Robin were excellent hosts, they went the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The English breakfast was great, served in the spacious dining room with a view to the garden. The rooms were clean with lots of storage space. Great selection of books in the dining room/upstairs for those who are interested.

We were treated like family. Breakfast was exactly how we wanted it cooked, even my slightly quirky requests were fulfilled. Room was large and very comfortable. Set in a beautiful quiet village in leafy lanes with friendly locals. Car park was more than ample for the 3 rooms. Grahame and Sue, not only own and work the property, but they joined everyone in the bar socially in the evening after Sue had finished cooking her excellent evening meals.
