Anne even had a birthday cake for my wife's birthday! Michael even let me try his favourite gin at breakfast! A lovely quiet calm to the house as a whole with a large bright dining room used for breakfast with wonderful view.

Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

This recently renovated guest house is located 14 km from Buttermere and 35 km from Askham Hall. Guests can make use of a garden. Excellent location, Large well decorated rooms with lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was amazing. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay. Will be going back and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you
