Julay Guest House, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Leh, 1.6 km from Shanti Stupa, 200 metres from Soma Gompa, as well as 2 km from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa. We loved our stay at Julay Guesthouse. The host was so helpful and nice. The room was very comfortable, and the location of the guesthouse was great. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea! Highly recommended, and we will definitely stay here again if we come back to Leh!

Located near Namgyal Tsemo Gompa and Soma Gompa, Rock Castle Residency is in Leh and provides free private parking and a restaurant. With quiet street views, this accommodation features a terrace. I have travelled all over the world, visited many many cities and stayed in all kinds of hotels. Generally I don't write reviews for hotels as I find them mostly fine, though nothing extraordinary to write about. However, I feel compelled to write a review for Rock Castle Residency of Leh due to the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. The room we got was fine - spacious, clean, and with a large comfortable bed. The balcony of the room had a superb view of the neighbouring hill and of the mountains further away. The guest house had a cute dining hall where the chef's dishes are very much like home cooked food - simple, fresh, tasty. But what delighted us most about the place were the gracious, warmhearted and helpful hosts. Family run and managed by individuals including Rigzin, Nordom and Prince, we felt absolutely at home during our stay. In fact, we had issues with acclimatizing for 3 days, and I had to take oxygen support during the nights. Rigzin and team helped us with everything, and without any hesitation accomodated our requests for extending our stay in Leh and then also cancelling the remaining stay without penalties when we decided to bail out and return to Delhi. They fed us delicious meals made from vegetables grown in their own garden, and even brought tea and meals to our room (against their house policy) when I was not feeling well. We weren't able to explore Ladakh fully this time, but if I ever come back to Leh I would most definitely stay at Rock Castle Residency only.

Offering mountain views, Lhachik Guest House is an accommodation situated in Leh, less than 1 km from Shanti Stupa and a 8-minute walk from Soma Gompa. The place was clean and beautiful, wonderful view from our room., wonderful roof top with lovely view. Excellent meals, very nice family. The owner helped us with everything We need including transportation in fair prices.

Situated in Leh and only 2.3 km from Shanti Stupa, Youthok Guest House features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Through Whatsapp, Jigmet gave us plenty of advice about all aspects of our trip in advance of our journey to Ladakh. We stayed in his family home for 3 days to acclimatise and 3 days at the end of our tour before we flew back to Delhi, and indeed, it really felt like home. It is located at walking distance to the town centre, yet it is in a quiet area. We stayed in 2 different bedrooms. Both were very spacious and clean, with an ensuite bathroom and many windows. The building features beautiful traditional wooden architectural sculptures. The bedrooms open to a lovely terrace where one can enjoy the sun on a lounge chair or a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Kunzes Angmo is a lovely motherly lady who cooks beautiful food. Bagerat is a young man who was always attentive to our needs, helpful and pleasant. Thank you all for your welcome. We miss you!

Mentokling Guest House and Garden Restaurant, a property with a garden, is set in Leh, 300 metres from Soma Gompa, 1.8 km from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa, as well as 6.1 km from War Museum. Splendid guest house, perfect location, great personnel, nice rooms, always hot water and a wonderful restaurant. I would recommend this stay to everyone.

Set in Leh and only 1.6 km from Shanti Stupa, Raku Guest house offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a very good stay at Raku. We stayed for a week and had a good experience throughout. The location is pretty good - a 10 min walk from the main market and close to the good eating places & cafes in the town. The surrounding area is peaceful (even though everything in Leh seems to be under construction :-). The views from the guest house (and the rooms) are simply amazing - you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance, the tall green poplar trees, and their apple & vegetable garden. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We all had good sleep throughout. The food we had was homely and consistently good. Their cook came only in the last couple of days we were there but served delicious, hot, and fresh food. We also did some work here and the WiFi internet was pretty well most of the time. The best part of our stay was the excellent service provided by Sonam, his parents, and the crew. Right from the booking to check in to the stay and checkout, everything was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an excellent value for money.

Hosts are very kind and helpful, rooms are extra-clean, food is very good and all the atmosphere is very nice and peaceful..Just 15-20 minutes walking from the market in a very quiet place,you are not disturbed by noise and trafic. If I will come back to Leh I will definitely choose again Heschuk Guest House!

During my stay at Naazh Guest House in Leh, I was thoroughly impressed with both the excellent location and the exceptional service provided by the staff. The location is very close to the Leh Main market, just a 5 minutes walk. And, the staff helped us with booking both my room and taxi to various other destinations across Ladakh like Nubra, Pangong etc. Their knowledge and helpfulness in arranging taxis to explore the region made my trip truly memorable. I highly recommend Naazh guest House for its convenient location and the outstanding hospitality provided by its staff.
