The nearest airport is Akureyri Airport, 84 km from the holiday home. Wow! This was by far my best stay in Iceland! The cottage was spotless, had a very well-stocked kitchen, and a beautiful sitting area to see the mountains while eating breakfast. It's on a beautiful farm with horses, sheep, ducks, and a very cute dog! This is a must stay!!!

Located on a farm in Árhólar 11 km from the main road, Laxárdalur Cabin offers cottages with a kitchen, dining area and private bathroom Einarsstaðir is a 45-minute drive away, while Akureyri is 80 km away. Guests benefit from free WiFi. Super clean and functional cottage. It had all we needed.

During our journey, we discovered one of the finest hotels in Iceland. It was a separate cottage with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy bedroom. Outside, there was a private jacuzzi and barbecue area. The views were simply awe-inspiring, truly beyond imagination.

A seating area and refrigerator are featured in all cottages at Dalvík Vegamót. All have a private toilet, while some have a private shower. Bjarni was treating us very well. Everything that wasn’t available, he brought over in no time and also helped us with everything. Really nice and easygoing hosts. Awesome hottub and Sauna. Can also highly recommend to visit their restaurant just a couple meters away. Also ask him about Jürgen Klopp ;) you will feel welcome here!
