I know the area quite well and knew that we would be in walking distance of Northlands Mall which meant that we didn't have to take the car for shopping, etc. The staff were very friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone.

The room itself was clean and comfy, equipped with a mini fridge, some kitchen utensils, table and chairs. Very kind and helpful staff.

The staff is very helpful, they offered to give us cash for the bus (charged to our bill) because we didn't nave any cash ant it was our last day in NZ. The free shuttle to the airport is very convenient. The swimming pool is heated and perfect for kids. There is also a hot tub for parents. The room is big, beautiful and quite. The breakfast is excellent with many interesting things to eat (mango lassi par ex). The cocktails in the bar are good.

The location was easy and central for shopping, food, entertainment (we walked to the Test Match) and the tram was outside our door. We also hired a car and could access other towns within an hours drive. Everything to like about the Fable in Christchurch including very friendly staff and a great little bar to unwind at the end of the day.
