Jobin, Binsi and their family were truly our dream hosts. They built a modern guest house behind their home and it’s clean, cozy, and filled with plants. The balconies and deck are ideal for hanging out on. There was a hanging chair swing that was perfect for reading and relaxing. We also did a cooking class in their kitchen and had so much fun learning how to make a variety of dishes, including chapati and dal. Jobin speaks perfect English which made the stay really smooth. Definitely try their breakfast—the dosa is one of the best we’ve had. Their house is just a 5 minute walk into town and we loved wandering and shopping in the spice and handicraft shops. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Lovely spacious room with the hottest shower we had in India, the private balcony and being able to see wildlife (birds, monkeys) was great, the host and how organized and helpful he was, (gave us plates / cutlery for our takeaway one evening, booked us massages, cooking classes etc) location was perfect, very easy to walk to restaurants and the national park.

Rani and her husband are great hosts and trust me you will want to book this place for the views alone! The sun sets beautifully over the nature reserve which is right on the boarder of the back of the homestay. Also I think they improved their wifi because I had no issues, I was also able to upload a very large video file within 2 hours. If I come back to Kumily I will book here again.
