Located in the Kemptown district in Brighton & Hove, Blue Sky Guest House offers 3-star rooms with free WiFi. The host was very friendly and talked us through a map of Brighton, giving us a few highlights and recommendations. The room was bigger than I expected, gorgeous and absolutely spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for getting to the beach and a short walk into town.

Was a bit dubious when I booked as it seemed such a cheap price... but was actually a really great place. Parking outside, big room with lovely modern bathroom and really close to the beach and cafes.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Abbey Court Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Carlisle, 38 km from Askham Hall. The breakfast was really good and the host were polite and kind. The female host was exceptional, I told her I wanted to buy some bottle water and she asked if she could give me some for free from her fridge if I didn’t mind. A little kindness goes a long way. I felt great and good that they are still good people in the world.

Located in a listed building in a pleasant area of Shropshire, The Town House offers room-only accommodation. Free WiFi is accessible throughout. Excellent location, quiet, beautifully decorated, pretty inner patio, easy access, lovely room - warm for a mid-December stay. I will definitely return.
