Reception was great and ordered us a taxi when our dog developed a sore leg and we needed to get to the train station. £20 for 2 dogs for the night was cheaper than most places with the usual charge being £30.

Brilliant location if you feel like exploring a bit of Hadrian's Wall on foot or by bike, or popping in to Hexham or even Newcastle as the station is literally just over the road, nice little pub, plus very decent breakfast with good choices (hadn't realised it was in with the room rate, so even better!).
