Das Masaya Casas Viejas liegt 30 Minuten von Minca in der Region Magdalena mit Allrad oder Motorrad und 12 m von Santa Marta entfernt und bietet eine Terrasse und Gartenblick. Very nice location on top of the mountains. It takes a little courage to get to the property (by motor or jeep taxi) but the view is absolutely worth it. Once you get to the property there are plenty of organised (paid) activities in which you can participate which are very well arranged. Very friendly, English speaking, staff.

I booked 2 nights but stayed 5 and was very sad to have to leave.

Die Unterkunft The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel verfügt über einen Außenpool, einen Garten, eine Terrasse und eine Bar in El Zaino. The location was great, surroundings were beautiful, you could fall asleep and wake up to the sound of birds chirping. While reading a book I also spotted some monkeys. The staff was superfriendly, all spoke english aswell (a treat you don't see much in Columbia). Food was nice. It was super close to Tayrona entrance. Definately worth to stay longer than just for visiting Tayrona.

Die Unterkunft Imagine hostel, die in Santa Marta, 900 m von Strand Bahía de Santa Marta entfernt gelegen ist, bietet klimatisierte Zimmer und eine Bar. This hostel was the best thing in all Santa Marta! Room had an ac, a life saver in this hot climate! Room looked a bit bigger in the picture, but since it has an upper floor it felt really spacious and a lot of natural light coming in, also possible to open the window. Nice to have 2 choices for breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location near restaurants and bus stop (taganga, tayrona, minca). It's not one of the cheapest ones in the town but I think it's worth of the money.

At the breakfast we saw small monkeys and the rooms where so nice. the food was really good, but they were always serving it a bit later than what they told. In general a really nice hostel with a chill atmosphere.
