Mambo Hostel Okinawa is gelegen in Motobu, op 2,1 km van Emerald Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een gedeelde lounge. This Hostel was amazing. The design was very welcoming and nature focused which is something that I love. Because of its location you have nature all around you and the atmosphere is very peaceful, me and my friends would spend hours relaxing in a hammock listening to the sounds of birds and crickets. During my stay while my friends chose to stay in the shared rooms, which were also really beautiful and clean, I chose a private room which was to my surprise enormous with a private balcony that takes half of the whole second floor, totally worth it! The location is also 20 minutes walking distance from the Okinawa aquarium which is a nice plus, there’s also a beach next to it but we couldn’t go swimming because swimming season starts in April. The staff was exceptional, no doubts about it. She event prepared us dinner and answered any questions we had very openly and with a smile. To be honest we were kind of sad to say goodbye because although we only stayed for two nights it felt a little bit like home. I’m hopping I could visit again.

Hostel Mosura no Tamago is gelegen in Motobu, op 8 minuten lopen van Anchihama Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. I really want to say thank u to sasaki for helping me so much. At the end of the day I stayed there, I walk ed to the Sesoko Beach and i suddenly noticed that if I walk to the bus stop I wouldn’t catch it. Then sasaki San drives me to the bus station generously. I really have to say I have a sweet memory in Okinawa, traveling alone in sesoko island. The hostel is amazing, warm, and comfortable.i think I will back again to see the summer scenery there.

Holiday House Ryukyu-an "MUSIC HOSTEL" ligt op slechts 12 minuten rijden van Kaap Maeda, beroemd om zijn prachtige landschap, helder water en snorkelen. I had an incredible week at this hostel in Okinawa. It's safe to say this was the best hostel experience I've ever had. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, with music in the living room and fun movie nights. One of the standout features was the option to rent a scooter at a very affordable price, which made exploring the island a breeze. Plus, having a nearby gym with a $2 entry fee was a fantastic bonus. The hostel's location was perfect, making it easy to access all the attractions on the island. The host was a true gem – not only did they create a warm and homely atmosphere, but they also served up some delicious breakfast, especially those mouthwatering pancakes. Staying here felt like being among friends, and I made some amazing connections during my stay. In my travels around Japan, this hostel, without a doubt, had the best host. The value for the price was outstanding, and I'm truly grateful for such a memorable experience. If you're heading to Okinawa, I can't recommend this place enough. It's a home away from home and an unforgettable journey.

It stays very close to the beach and inside a very friendly village. Staff are super friendly and the dinner party is so great to meet people and try food around.

Akachichi Guesthouse biedt uitzicht op de tuin en beschikt over accommodatie met een tuin en een terras, op ongeveer 7 minuten lopen van de Kaap van Maeda. A small guesthouse with a homey vibe and a lot of love for details. Every morning we got a great breakfast set served on the terrace in a beautiful green garden. The room was quiet, clean, spacious with 2 beds, a small table, 2 comfy chairs and a hanger for clothes. They offer daily roomservice. Kenny and Komaki are very friendly and helpful hosts and gave us great recommendations. It is located near cape maeda. There is a brilliant plant-based restaurant in 3 min walking distance, an Italian place and another café. In about 7min walking distance is the cape for snorkeling or diving and 4 small beautiful beaches.

The Kitchen Hostel Ao is ideaal gelegen in de wijk Naha Centrum in Naha, en bevindt zich op 4,7 km van Tamaudun Mausoleum, 20 km van Gusuku Nakagusuku en 22 km van Sefa Utaki. Ik vond het bed gedeelte erg fijn. Je hebt een ruimte waar je jezelf in kan afsluiten maar toch onder de mensen bent in een gedeelde kamer. Ook zijn de faciliteiten echt super tof. Je hebt beneden een zit gedeelte waar je lekker mag eten

ジンジャー ligt in Miyako-eilanden, op 2 minuten lopen van Painagama Beach en 1,2 km van To River Sunset Beach. Super friendly family-style place. Home-cooked meals were delicious.

Santiago Guesthouse Naha is ideaal gelegen in de wijk Naha Centrum in Naha, en bevindt zich op 5,2 km van Tamaudun Mausoleum, 21 km van Gusuku Nakagusuku en 22 km van Sefa Utaki. Great location and friendly staff as well as fellow guests. Everyone was pretty respectful and it was nice to stay in one of these places where you have to "check out" at 11a but checking out doesn't mean taking everything out of your capsule as is the case at other hostels.

HOSTEL SunTerrace Ishigaki bevindt zich in Ishigaki, op 15 minuten lopen van Kunstmatig strand Painuhama, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, privéparkeren en een terras. Quite liked this place, the communal area is open and bright, kitchen is stocked (spices and oil avalable, ask staff, no problem) stayed in a dorm, not capsule style. Nice staff, friendly, Okinawa style. During my stay there were mostly locals and hanging out was nice and made the experience cozy and friendly. Ishigaki is an awesome island, and this is a good base to explore it from. Close to the "downtown" area on foot, 8min walk, 16 min walk to the closest big supermarket. First bus stop 3 min walk.
