Ryota and his family have created a beautiful and comfortable hostel in a 140 year old traditional Japanese home. It felt very special to stay there, especially with such a friendly and interesting host. We were very lucky to stay at the same time as some other lovely people and we had great chats. Highly recommend!

This was a perfect place for our trip in Shimoda. The host was very friendly and gave us a lot of information on restaurants and sightseeing destinations. Perfect location near the beach and not to far from the station. We definitely recommend.

Backpackers Hostel TSUBAMENOYADO asub Shizuoka külas, 47 km kaugusel Shuzen-ji templist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. We stayed in two of the rooms (we had to switch at a certain point because we decided to extend our stay) and both were clean and well crafted. The owner did a really nice job designing the hostel. It was close to the train! It's a small town so there was only a few things that we really needed to walk to. At the gelato shop by the train station there are electric bike rentals. We took them all the way down to Miho no Matsubara and back! If you walk past the train line and towards the water you can access a path along the coast and can see the tetrapods and surfers- amazing! Definitely go to the restaurants recommended by the hosts. We had some really nice encounters and meals. Very safe- we biked home past dark from Miho no Matsubara all the way back to Kambara and didn't have any problems.

Situated in Fuji, 43 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, GUESTHOUSE富士と碧 features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge.... We loved how clean everything was. Also we loved that all amenities are provided for. The lady working at the hostel is very friendly.

Kinoya Hostel asub Fujis, Shuzen-ji templist 41 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, privaatne parkla, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. Majutusasutus on allergiavaba ning asub Shimizu jaamast 23 km kaugusel. Traditional looking Hostel close to the JR station, but also offers car parking (and plenty of parking nearby too!). Looks clean and new. The staff are lovely. The rooms are comfortable. The bathrooms and baths are clean and lovely. You use a booking system… do it is private or family use.

Atelier & Hostel Nagaisa-Ura asub Atamis, 400 meetri kaugusel Atami Suni rannast ja 27 km kaugusel Hakone-Yumoto jaamast. Perfect location at the Harbour and seaside of Atami, including the beach. Wonderful all day, especially early in the morning and at sunset. Great restaurants and Atami Ginza as well as an amusement area close to the river all within a few minutes walking. The Japanese style room was minimalist but very nice and generous. The host was really charming and I would have stayed two weeks longer there but had to return to Germany.

The view is amazing! The location is right on the waterfront. It's an active fishing port so you cat watch the boats come and go. More exciting than a beach stay in my opinion. The rooms are also amazing. So clean!
