The room is very simple but the window view on Mt Fuji makes it incredible! Beds are really comfy.

The host Michi was incredible: from collecting us from the station, recommending things to do and restaurants to eat at, to dropping us off at the station afterwarda. The accommodation is warm, welcoming and has everything you need! We saw Mt Fuji from our room (202) and the garden and communal spaces were all just perfect. It's perfectly away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance from everything you could need or want!

Where do I start? Ah right, first things first, this is a clean freak speaking. Sharing showers, toilets, common areas and some other things is pretty difficult for some of us, coming from someone working in the service industry, I have learned to tolerate, live with and do not let it trouble me so much (although I find people in general to be filthy). K's House surprised me about how strict they were with the cleaning from the very moment my wife and I arrived. For instance, there are cleaning hours were you can not take a shower due to cleaning, reading that made me so happy! The first night we went grocery shopping but we were so tired from all our walking that day that we went to bed with kind of empty stomachs. We cooked us a beautiful meal the next day, there are frying pans, pots, toasters, a rice cooker, cutlery, free instant coffee and tea (just be sure to wash everything you use before and after!) . The common areas are thoroughly cleaned everyday which made me feel at ease as my wife and I stayed there chatting with a guy we met. Sadly for us, it heavy rained during most of our stay. Fortunately, the early morning of our last day, it cleared out and we were able to finally see the star of the trip, Fuji-san. We do recommend to rent their bikes for an early morning ride for only ¥500 from 20h00 - 8h00 (late night early morning fee), ¥200 per hour for the old bike and ¥300 per hour for the new bike from 8h00. The difference between the old and new bikes are the time when they were purchased. We picked the new ones (the day before since reception closes at 20h00) for an early morning use until 10h of the following day, in total ¥500 (early morning fee) x 2 + ¥300 (new bike per hour fee) x 2 for a total of ¥2200 for 2 people. This is actually very cheap if you feel like having a late night or early morning ride since you would be paying only ¥500 from 20h00-8h00!

The room was amazing, super spacious and comfortable. The host was really nice and recommended different places to eat. The location was also great.

Cukup dengan 10 menit berkendara dari taman hiburan Fujikyu Highland, Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel menawarkan kamar-kamar pribadi dengan gaya Jepang serta akses Wi-Fi gratis di lobi. Really friendly host! Would reccomend.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. The hostel was new and it shows in their furnishings. Its clean as you would expect of accommodations in Japan. The staff was efficient. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom nicely fitted us asian sizes perfectly.

The location was ideal, room amd facilities were clean and tidy and value for it all was great. I would definitely recommend staying here. Do note there are steep stairs up to the rooms if you have large suitcases.
