Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Complimentary tea and coffee are available. The host is super great. I will definitely come back here if I have another visit to Mt Fuji.

Highly curated space, traditional setting with modern upgrades. We stayed in the second building- well equipped with heating in the shared spaces and the guestroom had a separate heater and secondary double glazed sliding windows to keep the warmth in. Option to rent bikes for 500yen per day.

A mere 10-minute drive from the Fujikyu Highland amusement park, Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel offers private Japanese-style rooms, free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Coin-operated laundry facilities are on-site. The very friendly owner, location (if you wanna be 15m from Kawaguchi but in a different setting, with more diverse restaurants) and most of all the cosy feeling of the room & hostel. Also extremely clean.

It was super clean and the bathroom areas were modern in decor too. It’s in a great location 1 minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. The staff were very friendly and kind and let us store luggage before and after checkout. We will definitely return.
