The location was superb, if you like being in the mountains. Peaceful and spectacular. Breakfast and the restaurant food were superb.

The inn provides mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Way more than we expected. Worth the trip just for the evening meal! Great value!

All rooms were renovated in late 2019. Our experience here was amazing! I was a little nervous whether we will be in time for check in due to the long 9h drive. So I contacted the host and they responded to me with instructions on how to get to the room in case of late arrival. I really appreciated that! Moreover, everything besides that was also exceptional: very friendly staff that really cared to make our stay comfortable, cosy and clean room that was staffed with everything we needed, great breakfast. We will definitely recommend that place to our friends and consider it to stay during our next visit.

Featuring traditional wooden furniture and floors, the en-suite rooms have a balcony overlooking the Valais Alps. Breakfast was good. Nice location.

Situated in the Lötschental Valley, Bietschhorn offers room with wooden furniture in the village of Kippel. The Lauchernalp Ski Area is a 2-minute drive away.

Some rooms come with private bathrooms, others feature shared bathroom facilities. Satellite TV is provided in some of the double rooms. We stayed there for one night to extend our ski holiday and be able to ski in Lauchernalp, too. It is a charming traditional old house; we booked a room with shared bathroom because that was the only one available for our date in the main ski season. We did not have high expectations but enjoyed our stay very much. It was kind of a mountain hut feeling with a lot more comfort. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and had soap, shampoo available and there was a bathrobe in our room as well. The owners were extremely nice and accommodated all our wishes. The hotel has a restaurant and we had fondue from the ala cart menu for dinner, which was excellent, but I wish I booked half board because the 5-course dinner the cook served for another group looked amazing. I am happy to return to this small hotel when I am back in the "magic valley" next time, which is an outdoor paradise with lots of traditions.

Furnished in a rustic Alpine style with wooden furniture and floors, the rooms include a flat-screen cable TV, a minibar, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Location was great, really quiet, room was super with balcony, clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good and all in all I would recommend this hotel.

Located at 2,500 metres above sea level on the Great Saint Bernard Pass, the family-run Auberge de l’Hospice is just steps away from the Saint Bernard Dogs Foundation and directly opposite the Hospice of Saint Bernard. Superb location , of course. Most staff was very friendly, especially the young lady at the reception and the restaurant staff. Impeccably clean. Excellent breakfast (lots of choice). Quiet. Recommended.
