I rate Lakeside motel 10/10. I would say that the owner put his/her heart into it. The room is so clean and organized. It was cleaned up every day. The quality I got is much higher than the price. The front yard garden is absolutely beautiful. Location is good, and the lake just right across to the street. Definitely will come back next time and recommend to my friends and family.

The manager really helped us with our travel plans, including details like where's the cheapest gas station and what time to leave for our Milford Sound cruise. The room was cosy and clean, felt simple but it was exactly what we needed for a night in Te Anau. Just a short walking distance from a nice lake walkway and bird sanctuary, and a few minutes drive from town. The manager also kept our luggage safe all day after checkout during our trip to Te Anau.
