I chose this hotel because it was close to my workplace. When I arrived, I was greeted by efficiency. I was attended by a polite staff member. He did the paperwork promptly and I got out of there in 10mins. My room was clean, lights were working well. The towels were clean and did not smell of smoke.

It was an excellent choice. Beds comfortable, nice appliances in room for our use, and accessible. When not too tired to use there was a fitness room available. Nice continental breakfast and reasonable prices. We have made repeat visits. Our downtown Louisville motel of choice.

The location from the expo center was good but it seemed to be in a rough looking part of town, lots of unsavory looking characters roaming around the motel. At most motel/hotels you just get your room and go on about your business, but here I see them outside or the front desk, and it's always a hello and how are you doing or we will just chat. I love that kinda atmosphere.
