In summary everything went well - it was a wonderful experience overall! Firstly the vibe of the place - this is not your standard cookie cutter resort in PD. This has a very unique style with massive murals, funky coloured furniture, and all the comforts. Uniquely, in the pool area there's the facilities of a standard kitchen providing guests the option to prepare their meals (Coles is just a short walk) and relax in a shaded dining area poolside. The pool area had a calming waterfall and it was great to hang out and experience peace and tranquility. As a solo traveller it was great to meet other guests of all nationalities and enjoy each other's company. Staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging my return transportation to Cairns at very short notice - Ruth you're a superstar! The ownership has transformed a standard '60's vintage Motel into a truly unique property - hats off to them!

Ocean Palms Apartments อยู่ในพอร์ตดักกลาส ห่างจากหาด Four Mile Beach เพียง 500 ม. Ocean Palms is within walking distance to beach and many restaurants! The apartments are modern and well equipped. We were only going to stay for 5 days, but liked it so much we added another 8 days. Bec was a pleasure to deal with, always available for questions or any small problems were solved quickly. We can highly recommend Ocean Palms! Thanks Bec for everything❣️

Mossman Gorge B&B is a traditional bed and breakfast in a rainforest setting. Mandy and Chris were wonderful hosts, even making sure I had a takeaway breakfast if I was getting an early start to the day and offering lots of travel tips. Breakfast in the mornings included a lot of homemade jams and jellies that were delightful. I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

Outrigger Apartments Port Douglas offers a heated saltwater swimming pool, a tropical garden and free Wi-Fi. Very clean. Spacious apt, all we needed was there. And Amanda and Peter were great hosts! Helping us with booking tours. Both to the reefs and Daintre. Making our stay just fantastic! We so hope to come back!
