Nestled in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Fonab Castle, refurbished and opened in 2013, boasts luxurious rooms, scenic views, mature gardens, free WiFi, free parking, and 2 restaurants. The hotel staff and service was first rate, everyone was friendly helpful and professional and very welcoming. The room was lovely, well designed spotless and the attention to every detail to make for a comfortable stay. I loved the bed sheets and the bath robe, so soft! The spa was great, very quite clean and well kept, the "sent" room is a must visit. The grounds are beautiful and you have very easy access to the town.

Situated in Dunkeld, Tay House is a self catering establishment with views of the River Tay. Tay House has a terrace at the back of the building with river views. Very warm welcome, friendly staff. Great parking right across the street. Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and the self-service breakfast was the perfect option for me. I already recommended Tay House to some friends. Thank you!

It is a really cosy Inn with lovely food, a good selection of drinks and marvelous staff. We liked everything about it, especially that we could reserve a table for the evening prior to spending the night there.

Established in 1924, The Gleneagles Hotel is a prestigious resort in the heart of Scotland. Set within 850 acres, it offers 3 championship golf courses and an ESPA spa, along with a falconry school. Everything! From the grounds to the staff, from the attentiveness of everyone working to the incredible food and drinks Gleneagles was everything I heard about and then some. Gorgeous, fantastic place.

The Merryburn - Rooms and Courtyard Studios is a few minutes' walk from Dunkeld and Birnam Railway Station at the gateway to the Highlands and is a listed Victorian building. Very cute hotel, room was beautifully decorated and spacious for myself. Well equipped room as well for what you needed for a few nights stay. Very clean too. Property was easy walk to local attractions (Birnam and Dunkeld) and conveniently driveable to surrounding areas. The two staff/owners I met were really lovely.

The Lands of Loyal stands proudly at the foot of Loyal Hill, overlooking the picturesque town of Alyth, 2 golf courses, and the rolling farmland of the Vale of Strathmore. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price and value were exceptional, especially after coming from Dalmunzie Hotel

Situated in 1.5 acres of elevated grounds, 'Knockendarroch Hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Pitlochry town centre. a really lovely hotel, with attentive staff and wonderful food

Lovely little hotel in quiet Grandtully. We enjoyed the food and stay at this small inn, and walked one afternoon along the river bank to the next town as well as visited (the outside at least - as it was closed until 2 PM) the nearby Menzies Castle.

It was easy to get to and away from the crush of people in busy Pitlochry. There was a very evident personal touch from the staff, who were friendly and made sure we were very comfortable. Breakfast was good (great coffee!) and hot. The house itself was nicely appointed and comfortable - didn’t leave one feeling like you shouldn’t touch anything because it is precious.
