Featuring a terrace, bar and views of city, Hotel Papasotiriou is located in Galatas, 1.7 km from Kanali Beach. The hotel is located just across the gulf from touristic Poros city, but much cheaper, not so noisy and not so full with people as in Poros. I would say that’s the best deal in terms of comfort and price. We were using a boat for 1euro to cross the gulf to Poros, where we were enjoying sunny beaches and nice restaurants. But in the end of the day we were also so happy to come back to our hotel and rest on the balcony sipping a glass of wine and enjoying the view at the harbor. The family that owns the hotel made our stay so comfortable and pleasant. The room is super clean with a great sea view. We were provided with everything whatever we wished for during our stay. The girls at the reception were so helpful and gave to us good advice about local restaurants, places to visit and nice beaches. And even more - at the end of our stay they complemented us with such a nice and delicious present - a box with local sweets - it was so sweet gesture of them.

We had got recommendations from our friends to stay in Villa Dolphins; so we expected it to be a nice place, but it was more than that! The location is peaceful and beautiful - and it’s close to everything you wish to do in Poros island. The room was also clean and spacious and we loved to end the nights by sitting on our own balcony. Would definitely stay there again!

The prime advantage of this hotel is its big roof terrace & bar where breakfast is also served. The view and sunset is marvelous! The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was very good! It is quite easy to reach the hotel from the port (a little up the hill) although there could be better indications/directions from the bottom road. The area is quiet and it is an easy walk to the promenade with lots of restaurants and bars. We loved Poros island!

The view from Golden View is absolutely spectacular, as is the private beach. We went to a few other beaches while in Poros, and GV had the clearest water by far. The staff were all top-notch and very kind. We had a room overlooking the sea. I would ask for a sea view room in the 3rd or 4th floor. We've visited several islands with our daughter, and this was our favorite hotel pool as well. Great size, same spectacular view of the sea, full service from bar and restaurant. Regarding the restaurant, we were very impressed with the quality of food and the prices. Both were better than many places in the center of town. You could easily stay at Golden View for your entire stay and be completely satisfied! We will absolutely be back!

The location is amazing! Right on top of the Askeli beach! The staff were the kindest, friendliest and most polite people I have met in years! They even offered us fresh homemade lemonade as well as homemade sweets every morning! The place is located very close to amenities such as supermarket, bakery, restaurants etc

I loved how big and clean the room was and the fact that it had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Free drinking water was provided by the host. Cabs knew where it was, no need to give directions. Great value for money.
