Avevo già soggiornato al WPR circa due anni fa. L’albergo è rimasto quasi uguale, cosa difficile in questa nazione. Le stanze carine e pulite. Personale disponibile e preparato. Anche se sulla strada principale il rumore non si sente. Anche la posizione trovo abbia dei vantaggi. Si può raggiungere Auroville, molto vicina, e Pudhucherry, circa otto chilometri, con i risciò, disponibilità vicina all’albergo.

La Villa si trova si trova a 500 metri dal centro di meditazione Sri Aurobindo Ashram, a 1 km dal famoso mercato Goubert e a 1,5 km dalla stazione ferroviaria di Pondicherry, e offre una piscina... Bella e di fascino la struttura, molto grande e ben ristrutturata la stanza con bagno ampio e funzionale. Eccellente il servizio, molto attento e di livello. una piacevole sorpresa l’idea del frigobar (fornitissimo) ad uso gratuito. Ottima la cena a menù occidentale (nel nostro caso abbiamo mangiato una buonissima aragosta a prezzi contenuti) ed altrettanto buona la prima colazione. Dovessi tornare a Pondicherry non avrei dubbi su dove soggiornare.

STAFFS : Special thanks to Mr Adrien, Mr Kalay , Ms Yoshita , the GM Mr Dino, the restaurant staffs . You all made our stay amazing and made us felt at home. ❤️ From day 1, all the staffs were so kind, always smiling and willing to go extra miles. ROOM : The room was spacious, clean and had all the required amneties ( TV with local and international channels ,mini bar , hair dryer, water , fruits , fan , AC , Shampoo , Moisturiser, dental kit , hot water, Iron on request etc..) BED : One of the most comfortable bed we had. We slept so well . If we had more days, we would extend our stay just to spend our day in bed . POOL : Clean, beautiful and so relaxing. FOOD : Fresh and tasty food. We still talked about that " mushroom sandwich " during our breakfast time at home. LOCATION : Lively street close to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and tourist places. You can easily find rickshaw and there is a starbucks next to the hotel . We will consider the other CGH hotels for our other vacays !!

On my next trip to pondicherry, I will surely get my family to stay here.

The pool area was fantastic, location great, right near the centre of Pondy and all the facilities. Staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. They allowed me to check in early, kept my bags safe for me upon check out, and gave me a number for a taxi service to Chennai. Also, one of the best (if slightly pricier, but worth it) laundry services I had in 3 months of travel. Love this place. Definitely coming back if I ever pass through Pondicherry!

Loved the hotel. It had plenty of space inside along with a children's play area and pool. My son loved playing there. The room was amazing, and the bathroom and shower experience was wonderful. The bouffet and in-room dining was cheaper than we expected and food was really delicious. We went there in our EV and there was an EV charging station just 2.5 KM away. There was ample parking space both underground and outside (within hotel premises). Having an EV, we wanted to park in the shade, and the guards helped us with that every day. Our whole stay was made exceptional by the friendly and helpful staff and all the conveniences provided within the premises.

From the outside, it looked barren. But, the rooms were comfy. Courteous staff. But, we did not get the buggy a couple of times - all drivers were at lunch or something. Other than that pretty courteous staff. Checking in and out was not complicated. Rooms had all the amenities I had anticipated for. Was not a big fan of the food there. (But, the Bfast options were good.) So, we ate out in Pondicherry. But, the room service was good. They made a mistake in our 1st lunch order But, were honest enough to accept the mistake and quickly rectified it for us. bonus points for that. Not all the attractions were operational there - Under renovation. But, we had a good time there and the drive back and forth to Pondi. Once all amenities are operational, will surely want to go back and experience them.
