Situated in the centre of Kyoto, 300 metres from TKP Garden City Kyoto, ALA HOTEL KYOTO features air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. Location's great. Close to station, bus stop and main streets area but still quiet at night. I can see locals walking around there so it's not tourists-centric kinda place, which I like. The hotel's clean, nicely decorated and the room was really cozy. Public bath was fully equipped with everything so I could enjoy the hot spring there. Staffs are extremely nice and communicate in English really well that I was really impressed. 100% come back next time and rcm it to my friends

Kylpylän ja huoneen ilmaisista hygieniatuotteista tulee luksusfiilis. Huoneeseen tuodaan päivittäin vesipulloja ja jokaisessa kerroksessa on kohtuuhintaisia juoma-automaatteja. Hotellissa on mahdollisuus myös pestä pyykkiä. Kylpylä on pieni, mutta siisti ja toimiva. Huoneen TV:stä näkee kylpylän ruuhkatilanteen. Hotellin ympäristössä on paljon ravintoloita ja shoppailumahdollisuuksia.

Aamupala oli todella monipuolinen ja riittoisa. Ravintolan tilat olivat tilavat ja viihtyisät ja peilasivat mukavasti hotellin teemaa. Sijainti oli rauhalline ja lähellä rautatieasemaa, jolla pääsi helposti Kioton aseman kautta kulkemaan ympäriinsä. Yksityiskylvyt tarjosivat hyvän vaihtoehdon rentoutumiseen, vaikka kiireelliseen aikaan niihin joutuikin jonottamaan hetken. Välipalaa oli tarjolla vuorokauden ympäri, eikä hotellilta juurikaan olisi ollut tarvetta poistua majoittumisen aikana.

Alkaen € 20 per yöSijainti oli rauhallinen, mutta silti lähellä Nijon asemaa. Ympärillä oli paljon ravintoloita ja Kioton keskustaan ja nähtävyyksiin pääsi nopeasti. Majoitus oli viihtyisä ja siisti. Tilat olivat pienet, mutta se ei ole yllätys Japanissa. Yhteinen huone oli hyvä ja viihtyisä. Tommy-san oli todella mukava ja ystävällinen. Täällä kehutut aamiaisleivät todella olivat erinomaisia! Lisäksi kiitos lainattavasta suoristusraudasta :)

Alkaen € 134 per yöPerinteinen pieni ryokan, joka ollut saman perheen yritys jo useita vuosikymmeniä. Majoituimme huoneessa, joka oli aiemmin ollut teeseremoniahuone. Japanilainen aamiainen oli erinomainen, myös erilainen jokaisena kolmena päivänä. Sympaattinen omistajapariskunta neuvoi paikallisliikenteestä ja kertoi Kioton nähtävyyksistä. Hyvät bussi- ja metroyhteydet kaupungin kaikille puolille.

Hotellihuone oli perinteinen japanilainen tatamipatjoineen ja yakataneineen. Huone oli tilava ( meitä oli neljä aikuista) ja hiljainen. Sijainti oli loistava, Kioton rautatieasemalle käveli n. 20 minuuttia ja keskusta oli myös kävelymatkan etäisyydellä. Palvelu oli todella ystävällistä ja matkalaukun sai jättää säilöön iltaan saakka.

Sijainti oli loistava, lähellä Kioton asemaa. Hotelli oli erittäin siisti. Buffet-aamiainen oli hyvä. Huoneen ikkunasta oli upea näköala Kiotoon. Erittäin hyvä hotelli tässä hintaluokassa.

Excellent service staff who does their work with pride and precision. Room was exceptionally spacious and amenities provided goes beyond the norm. Even small details like quality of the disposable toothbrushes are great. The free bus shuttle to the JR station are great and saved much lugging of luggage.

I booked a one person room and there was more than enough space (with own personal bathroom with bath tub and small table with bench). The bed was very confortable and the shower warm and with a good pressure. The cleaning was perfect and such was the service. Besides this the hotel is beautiful, stylish and cosy. I appreciated a lot the fact that you can borrow simple bikes for free for 2 hours, or rent very good bikes for the day for 1300 yens, as Kyoto (outside of the main busy central areas) is a great place to bike.

Accommodations were truly fantastic, the room was tastefully and comfortably furnished, and the location was convenient for getting around town and close to the station, dining options, and shopping. Both the traditional Japanese and Western breakfast options were delicious, filling, and promptly arrived to our door. The staff were accommodating and very kind, we will absolutely stay here again next time we are in Kyoto.
