Everything about this hotel is great! We booked it because it was good value for a hotel with a pool.. but apparently it is also a sort of a museum, has a very extensive spa, great sports facilities, tennis court, squash, numerous fantastic lounges. The observatory/tower is awesome! The heated outdoor pool is absolutely great, especially at night with the stars and the fjord background… the staff was fantastic. Even upgraded us from mountain to fjord facing room free of charge. Bottom line - We can not recommend this hotel enough!

Dieses Hotel begrüßt Sie im Dorf Øystese am Ufer des Hardangerfjords. Es bietet ein Restaurant und gegen Aufpreis Zugang zum Pool und zur Sauna. Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt für 2 Nächte dort. Sehr nettes Personal, ein schönes Zimmer (ohne Balkon) . Toller Ausblick , super Frühstück und das Abendessen war auch sehr gut.

Das Brakanes Hotel liegt am Ufer des Hardangerfjords in Ulvik. Das Hotelrestaurant bietet ein Buffet und ein À-la-carte-Menü mit regionalen Gerichten. WLAN nutzen Sie kostenfrei. Very Silent and Peaceful location. I just could not get enough of the view. It had an apple tree outside our Balcony. Dinner was Super expensive, I will not say no, but the chef is top. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the outside noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

They fixed the loud, squeaky bathroom door handle within a few hours of us reporting it. They loaned us an iron and ironing board. The location was excellent. It was quiet but fairly close to the main tourist area. There were good views in almost every direction. There was free parking and good WiFi. There were lots of shelves (though not in the bathroom). The shower was excellent (good pressure, steady temperature, good enclosure). The bed was softer-than-average, which I liked. The pillow was good (not too thick). The breakfast was good except for the juice which was watery. The on-site restaurant is very good and is open for dinner until 9 p.m., but it has only a small menu. (It is closed on Tuesday evenings.) There are other restaurants nearby, as well as a food truck that sells Thai food. The lounge area is roomy. There are no TV's which I liked (i.e. no loud TV sounds coming from other rooms). Though we heard some noise from the hallway, we never heard sounds from the two adjoining rooms. One can't accidentally lock oneself out of one's room because you have to use your key to lock the door.

Centrally situated in Rosendal by the Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers a restaurant, bar and terrace with panoramic views. The location is amazing. The staff was super. Truly recommend a trip to iris the restaurant as well.

In idyllischer Lage am Hardangerfjord erwartet Sie dieses elegante Hotel mit traditionellem Dekor, einem Garten am Wasser und kostenfreiem WLAN. Loved the charm and character of the building and its location. Superb view of the fjord and the beautiful town. Staff very friendly and co-operative, and while I appreciate that we chose to be in the older part of the building, there could have been an offer to carry bags for older visitors.

Die Unterkunft Hardanger House hat kostenlose Fahrräder, ein Fitnesscenter, einen Garten und eine Terrasse in Jondal. Hardanger House is an exceptional place. Everything was extraordinary, great attention to details. The food was the best that I've ever had in Norway! They have an excellent chef, great wine and whiskey choices. Friendly and genuinely sincere staff. Top notch, HIGHLY recommended.
