Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Everything was absolutely amazing, the staff was great and incredibly welcoming. And the room even had its own Super Famicom! It was easily one of the cosiest stays we have ever had.

Located in Kusatsu in the Gunma region, Oyado Yukizumi provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Beautiful place, can't recommend it highly enough.

Set in Takasaki, 28 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, Ryutakuzenji 宿坊 offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a bar. Worth the price that i paid. Really good dinner ! Room i stayed was huge (could easily fit 5-6 adults) with high ceiling. This place puts you in peace and serenity.

Set just 36 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort, Minakamisansou features accommodation in Minakami with access to an open-air bath, a shared lounge, as well as a lift. Amazing ryokan with great view in serene area, you can really relax and just enjoy the scenery in outdoor hot spring. I might be a bit outdated and it is remote area so not all staff speak English but we didnt mind and they made extra effort to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay.

Situated in Kusatsu in the Gunma region, Soumeian features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and well prepared. One of best stay in Kusatsu. The breakfast is a homemade dish that is prepared carefully and beautifully. We are having a great time staying in Soumeian.

Set 36 km from Ishidan-gai Steps, Sekizenkan Kashotei Sanso offers 4-star accommodation in Nakanojo and has an open-air bath. The room was cozy and comfortable! Loved the traditional rooms! The staff was very polite and friendly! Also helped us a lot when we had questions and showed us everything and what to wear etc. We just was unsure about the rules for tattoos bc we both had some (more anime/manga and animal tattoos) and we messaged the hotel before and they said to cover them or just use the private ones which we also reserved in advance (they was awesome!). But as we arrived there, the receptionist told us just some special Japanese tattoos are not allowed (forget the correct name for it but we guess the common yakuza ones). So we were able to use all public Onsens too what was really awesome! Bc we thought we just can use the private ones! It was also possible to order a veggie Menu!

Located along Houshi River, Houshi Onsen Chojukan features a public hot spring bath, Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and Japanese cuisine. The most beautiful place I have ever been and I have travelled extensively

Oyado Tamaki offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and a traditional garden with benches where guests can sit and relax in. Staffs are very nice, friendly, and very service-minded. I lost my ring in the onsen and the next morning, when asked about it, they are able to return it to me.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. The property was very clean and quite traditional, I loved the traditional Japanese experience would highly recommend

Boasting an open-air bath and views of mountain, Yamakikan is a ryokan set in a historic building in Naganohara, 48 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park. Service was impeccable, beautiful location, quiet. Perfect!
