2.8 km from Kinumaki Shrine, Kinosaki Onsen Hanakouji Saigetsu is a recently renovated property situated in Toyooka and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Perfect stay in Onsen town. It was great experience to meet and feel traditions of Japan. This one night stay exceeded our expectations. Boasting an open-air hot springs bath and spacious garden, Arima Grand Hotel is located a 10-minute walk away from Arima Onsen Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Onsens facilities are clean! The breakfast is excellent. Dinner wise you have plenty of choice as well

Offering sea views, Miharaso is an accommodation set in Toyooka, 1.4 km from North Disaster Earthquake Monument and 1.9 km from Kehi Shrine. Great breakfast was provided, and the staff are super nice even if there's a language barrier. It's a bit of a distance from the Onsen town but the staff picked us up from the train station and brought us to the hotel, then dropped us back off at the Onsen town with a pickup time and location to meet them when it was time to leave. They even loaned us umbrellas due to the rain. If you're on a budget but want to go to Kinosakionsen town and have a nice stay you can't do much better than this

Set 2.6 km from Kinumaki Shrine, 城崎温泉 旅館 つばき乃 - Kinosaki Onsen Ryokan Tsubakino offers 3-star accommodation in Toyooka and features an open-air bath. We had an exceptional stay, and it was a highlight of our trip. Please see summary below: Location: Excellent. About a 6 minute walk from the KinosakiOnsen Station and close to the stream that runs through the town. Room: This is one of the most luxurious rooms we've stayed at and the best we would find in Kinosaki. It is as shown in the photos and has an attached private bathroom in addition to the tub. The room was spacious and clean. I am not sure if the water in the tub is spring water but we spent most of the time bathing in the private and public onsen. Check in was at 3pm. Private Onsen: There are one of two options to pick from at no extra cost, the micro bubble room and traditional room. Both are nice and clean. We decided to also pay to reserve a second private onsen for 45 minutes. In addition, there are male and female public baths at the Inn - depending on the time, you might be the only person in them. Public Onsen: Like all Ryokan in the area, you are given a pass that allows you access to all the public Onsen in the town. Yukata: We were given yukata in standard white and blue/black colours at no extra cost and also had the opportunity to pick a colourful Yukata from their selection. Meals: We are vegetarian and Tsubakino was very accomodating. We were served a set meal for dinner and breakfast - again, this was the nicest Japanese food we had during our trip. I have added a photo of the breakfast with this review, the dinner was much more elaborate and spanned multiple courses. Service: The service was excellent. We had forgotten some clothes in the closet, and the Inn promptly delivered it to our next hotel in Kyoto.

Taketoritei Maruyama is a non-smoking Japanese-style accommodation featuring natural hot spring baths for private use and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Our room was amazing, both the room and hotel are very clean. The room was quiet, our private onsen and garden were beautiful we enjoyed them a lot. There is a cattle in the room with tea and also a coffee maker. The staff was amazing, really friendly, very attentive and helped with all our questions. They reserved restaurants for us and brought us with a car to the restaurants. They also helped with arranging transport for our luggage to the next hotel. There was also a dedicated English speaking staff member. The location of the hotel is also great, it's higher up in Arima, which makes it nice quiet.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. The owner is very nice. We were droping by to the station by the owner. The place is near to everywhere. And love the outside onsen.

Located in the quiet areas of Kinosaki hot-spring district, Sensui offers Japanese-style accommodations and 3 private reservable hot-spring baths. Everything was superb in every aspect. The attention to detail and the exceptionally friendly staff, especially our host Ayuri, made our stay even more special. From outstanding communication at the beginning to exceptional service from arrival to departure, it was truly a wonderful experience. We also loved the traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast!

Set in the woods by Mount Kuruhi, Hotel Shogetsutei is 5 minutes from Kinosaki-Onsen Train Station on the free shuttle. It features beautiful outdoor hot-spring baths and a spa. Amazing hotel, specially the staff! Extremely helpful! The dinner was delicious, and the onsen in the hotel is great as well! They really make it easy to explore and enjoy kinosaki.

A 5-minute walk from the Kinosaki Onsen Ropeway, Japanese inn 城崎温泉 但馬屋-Tajimaya- features luxurious accommodation and cuisine, hot spring baths and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Breakfast and dinner served in the room. Different variety for the two breakfasts over the two mornings. Dinner is the variety that you choose from the available set menus. We had the crab one night (local fresh crabs) and Tajimaya Beef the next night. Multi-course meals. Delicious and great service. They also arranged to have luggage delivered to near the train station so we could continued enjoying the town on checkout day. You should come here. The location is also excellent for being in the quieter part of town yet near the baths and ropeway.

Onishiya Suisyouen offers beautiful hot-spring baths, a sauna and Japanese garden beside the Maruyama River. The hotel is absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in the staff were nothing short of incredible. Super attentive, really warm and welcoming and very very helpful with everything you may need. The inside is very beautifully made as a traditional Japanese inn which I loved, the food was amazing and there certainly was a lot of it so I hope you’re hungry!
