Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Amazing service, we were received with a warm welcome and complementary drink. The host was very helpful with answering all our questions. He also helped us with the takkyubin service organizing everything. The accomodation had a lot of facilities like an entertainment room with old arcade games and several private onsen bathrooms. Our room was also equipped with a private Nintendo gaming console. We loved to play the games again we used to play as a small kid :)

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. The service was amazing! I have celiac disease and the staff went above and beyond to prepare our dinners to ensure it worked with my dietary needs.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Everything. Best accommodation I have been in my travel's life so far.

Hiljuti renoveeritud Mitsubikiya asub ajaloolises hoones. Kohapeal on aed ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Konditsioneeriga majutusasutus on Matsumoto jaamast 800 meetri kaugusel. Peretubadel on terrass. Rooms were clean and spacious, toilet was clean. We opted for the special dinner and was not disappointed!

Located in Oshino and only 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 八海 木花館 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Service was impeccable. The location was amazing - I had a view of Mt. Fuji from my room. It was the perfect relaxing retreat that I had in mind.

True local Japanese experience. Great, friendly and English speaking host. He can pick you up from Kawaguchiko train station and deliver you back. Mount Fuji view from the window (if weather allows but if not you will get one of his pictures of Fuji San as a compensation instead). A great walking paths around the Kawaguchiko lake. Hidden treasure restaurant that stole our harts.

Terrassi ja mäevaatega Private Hotel Rei asub Kawaguchi järvest umbes 7,1 km kaugusel. Kolmetärnihotelli kõigist majutusruumidest avaneb vaade järvele. This property is a real gem. Located in a quiet location away from the busy tourist hub. We had a car so it was perfect for us but you might need to explore your options if using public transport. The owner Yoshi and his wife Aya are amazing. Yoshi is a real foodie and so also doubles as the chef with a focus on a fusion between Japanese and Western meals. The food was awesome and delicious. Yoshi also gave us some very helpful suggestions during our stay which were all great and enabled us to have the best possible time. We only stayed a couple of nights but when we left we felt like family. I can highly recommend this delightful and charming private hotel and I would love to return one day. I would count our stay here as one of the highlights of our holiday in Japan.

The Staff, Location, the room, the onsen, breakfast...all are wonderful. I have problem with my heavy luggage but the nice young female staff helped me. The hotel is right across Kusatsu bus terminal (less then 1 minute walk), and there is a 2-minutes-walk shortcut to Yubatake. There is a convenience store right in front and a restaurant next door. There is no shower or bathtub in the toilet in guest-room. But who needs those when you have an onsen with showering area.

Set in Takasaki, 28 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, Ryutakuzenji 宿坊 offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a bar. Everything just 10/10, we really appreciate the traditional japanese style bedding, warm and comfortable. Thank you so much for your caring and kindness!
