This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA ligger i Beppu, 26 km från Showa Denko Dome Oita, och erbjuder utsikt över staden. The rooms were spacious and very traditional, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The location was close to for example Hyotan Onsen and the Jigoku sights as well as Kannawa bus station for easy access to a quick trip to Myoban as well. Every morning we got boiled onsen eggs outside our door and there were filter coffee bags and hot water in the kitchen. Miho went out of her way to help us out at every turn!

Assi ligger i Yufu, 43 km från Showa Denko Dome Oita, och har en trädgård, rökfria rum, gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en gemensam lounge. Lovely place! Outstanding hospitality and breakfast, plus a quirky but nice cat who even comes with a separate user guide 🥰 very comfortable room that was clean and tastefully decorated (I got a western style room because that was the only one left, but the Japanese ones also looked beautiful). Washing facilities and restrooms also great. The Onsen and shower facilities are outside, the Onsen was nice but not very warm since the springs seem to be a bit cooler than elsewhere. Still okay and no problem booking it privately. Note: shower facilities are not available in winter, so you have to keep that in mind. Cat: quirky, chatty, adorable and playful but, as most cats are she has a mind of her own. Not a huge cuddle bug but peaceful and comes over eventually. I'll definitely come back next year!

The lovely Ryokan is nestled in the mountains with beautiful scenery and views of the changing colours of the mountains, clouds and sky at different times of the day. Enjoyed the private onsen with forest views and the public open-air onsen with mountain views.

Okuhita Onsen Umehibiki ligger i Hita och har en trädgård, en terrass, en restaurang och en bar. Denna ryokan erbjuder bastu, en 24-timmarsreception och gratis WiFi. Excellent service, food, accommodations, hot springs. One of the best places I have ever stayed at.

Karatsu Seaside Hotel erbjuder boende i Higashi Karatsu. Här finns även en restaurang. Alla rum har luftkonditionering och platt-TV. The onsen pool on the rooftop was awesome. The spa facilities were huge. You need at least 2 days to enjoy all of them. The basic room without onsen was spacious with an ocean view. Breakfast and dinner at the buffet and restaurants were in good variety and quality with local ingredients. Will love to visit again

Syukubo Aso erbjuder boende i Aso, 33 km från Egao Kenko Kumamoto-stadion och 42 km från Kumamoto slott. It’s very comfortable with original ryokan atmosphere. Food was excellence both dinner and breakfast. You need car to get there but it’s worth it.
