Great place with a mix of traditional and modern facilities. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Traditional Japanese breakfast included. Conveniently located, few minutes walk from the main station and Matsumoto castle.

Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. Breakfast was delicious, the view was very pretty. The futon was extremely comfortable.

A 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Yorozuya features hot spring baths, a hot tub and Japanese-style rooms with a private terrace and private bathroom. Without requesting, they sent a chauffeur to drive us from the station to the hotel on a rainy night. The food is great, the baths are large, and the rooms are cozy. Top class service.

Situated just a 5-minute walk from historic Togakushi Shrine, Oshi Ryokan is traditional lodging accommodation in the peaceful mountain area, which used to cater for pilgrims. Our short stay was absolutely delightful! The hosts were so kind and welcoming and the ryokan was beautiful inside and out. Our room was very comfortable and peaceful - the perfect place to relax after exploring Togakushi. We had both dinner and breakfast and would highly recommend - some of the most delicious and memorable food of our trip!

Only a 10-minute drive from Snow Monkey Park, Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya offers simple Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Very warm, attentive and helpful owner. Room and meal were set and prepared with excellence. The stay is very convenient because Akira san can fetch you from the train station and drive you to Snow Monkey Park, just arrange ahead with him. He even made sure that I know my way back to Nagano before we parted ways. Onsen is booking system, so it's private. Also impressed by his responsiveness over booking.com messaging platform.

A 3-minute walk from Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Kadowakikan features ski-to-door access, a hot spring bath and free WiFi. Mr. Kadowakikan was super friendly and helpful. He picked us up and dropped us off at the shuttle bus stop. He helped us order rental ski/snowboard equipment to the hotel. The hotel's own onsen was very clean and more comfortable than the town's free onsens.

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The staff was really nice. Booking the onsen for half an hour was really appreciated. And the food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast.
