Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. This place is magical. One of the highlights of our 3 week Japan trip was staying at Ks. Everyone was friendly, the room was spotless, the communal areas were clean and well kept and the onsens fabulous. We had a family room and all slept very well on tatami mats and futons. We used both the private and public onsens. The room is spacious and the outlook over the stream at night is sensational. We were fortunate to be there when they had a fireworks display on the beach which was awesome.There is also a washing machine and dryer for 500yen which really helped having a family of 5. If you are looking for a traditional stay and a truly memorable experience this is it.

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, and 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Situated in Atami in the Shizuoka region with Atami Sun Beach nearby, SOKI ATAMI features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. It was a beautiful retreat that allowed you to unwind in a small coastal town. The traditional Japanese breakfast was wonderful and the onsen amenities were fantastic.

Set 9.1 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Everything! The stay was absolutely exceptional, I wish I could stay there for a week. The area itself is amazing with lots to see. The maisonette was even better than in photos.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. Easy to find and in a very nice location. Hosts are very kind and helpful!! They went above and beyond to help out, even giving us a ride to the station when it was raining.

34 km from Shuzen-ji Temple in Higashiizu, Bousui offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and hot tub. The property has sea and quiet street views, and is 49 km from Mount Daruma.... Friendly staff and excellent hot spring

Boasting sea views, Migiwaya provides accommodation with balcony, around 7.3 km from Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. Very clean, excellent amenities and great communication from staff.

Featuring private open-air hot spring bath in all rooms, Isaribi is located in Hagashiizu, 2.7 km from Atagawa Hot Springs. This was our 3rd visit since 2018 and remains our favourite ryokan! Love the private open air onsens!

Offering free WiFi access at public areas and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Tatsuta Ryokan is located a 5-minute walk from Yugashima Onsenguchi Bus Stop from which Shuzenji Station is a 30-minute... Gorgeous rooms with exceptional views. We had open air tub rooms and they were amazing. The outdoor dinner and breakfast in yukatas was so much fun and very delicious!

Featuring mountain views, Watei Kazekomichi provides accommodation with balcony, around 2.1 km from Atami Sun Beach. The staff are very helpful and nice.
