The Formosa Valley is a gorgeous rental, with immaculate internal surroundings & modern, tasteful decor. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the beds extra comfy. The Master bedroom had a decently sized walk-in shower, with excellent water pressure in all the bathrooms. Basic toilet necessities were provided, and the kitchen was well equipped with a storage unit insert. Overall, the ambience was warm & inviting, with the entire resort peaceful and serene, and close to the Disney Parks. Maria, our Concierge, was super helpful, attentive and accommodating. She was quick to answer all my questions via email, and expeditiously handled all my requests. I highly recommend the Formosa Valley Resort to anyone visiting the area. It's an excellent value for money!

The location is very quiet in beautiful surroundings on the Little Manatee River. It is close to Simmons Park and the Bahia Beach Preserve. The owner, Tammie Saxon, provided invaluable help getting me to my cottage and getting my disabled vehicle to servicing. Canoes and fishing gear are available. There's a large swimming pool area but the weather was too cool for pool activities during my stay. The manager, Lynn, made check in effortless and she had no problem extending my stay.

Loved the shot of the day, Happy Hour. Every day The pool&hot tub were so relaxing. Our room with king bed was perfect & very clean and comfortable. The front porch was another great relaxing spot, eating from the great selection of breakfast goodies getting to meet other people staying there having great conversations.
