Det familjeägda Hotel Himmelreich erbjuder ett lugnt läge i Wals, 5 km från Salzburgs historiska centrum. Här finns en bastu och en trädgård med pool. Was very lucky to get the corner room on the second floor (Venus room if I recalled correctly). From what I saw, it has the biggest balcony area (the whole L shape to the side of hotel!). Room was absolutely gorgeous, newly renovated and huge! Awesome view from balcony. A pity that I only stayed for one night, will be back!

This modern, quietly located 3-star hotel is part of the Wals Trade Centre and is just off the A1 motorway and only 800 metres from Salzburg Airport. Close to motorway. Easy to reach city centre. Very clean room. Excellent beds. Fantastic breakfast. Complementary car parking.

Ibis Budget Salzburg Airport - Self-Check-In ligger direkt vid motorvägsavfarten Airport Salzburg, bara 500 meter från Designer Outlet Center och 5 km från Salzburgs centrum. Nice cosy place. Good for a night or two. And location is very good.

Hostel Salzburg-Wals ligger i Salzburg, mindre än 1 km från Klessheim slott, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. The staff were very gentle. The guy in the front desk really helped us with lots of information we were looking for. The breakfast was great and the rooms clean!

Haus Kernstock ligger 3 km från Salzburgs flygplats och bara några minuter från Hangar-7 med den berömda restaurangen Ikarus. It’s a nice little place, very clean. We had 2 single rooms for my granddaughter and me. No breakfast, but didn’t expect it. It’s at the end of the street, turning the car around is a bit of work. We were looking for a simple inexpensive base for exploring Salzburg and the surrounding area, not a destination hotel with lots of services, it was just what we needed. Laundry service is available for 8 euro a load.

Elmi 22 ligger i Wals, bara 19 minuters promenad från Klessheim slott, och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. A modern home away from home. Everything you need in an apartment. We stayed for 4 nights, which was more than enough to explore Salzburg. Our daughter was most impresed by the remote control for the window shades, therefore she was the apartment sherif for light and shade. Our son was impresed by the PS4 (altough it didn't work), he used the controler to save the world :-). But we definitly apreciate Monopoly, because we all evolved into modern kapitalist.
