The best property of the 9 places we stayed during our 30 days in Thailand. We arrived later than expected due to ferry from the islands to Chumphon being delayed. When asking about a good restaurant for dinner we were offered a free ride to their suggestion and they arranged for restaurant owners to drive us back. Our departing flight left early in the morning and Jeff once again drove us to the airport. We wished we would have stayed longer and next time certainly will.

Lung Pod 9 resort ligger precis stranden i Chumphon, en kort bit från Ao Bo Mao Beach och 2,8 km från Ao Bang Son Beach. They had free breakfast and coffee. The room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were comfy. I felt safe in the room and the restaurant across the road was delicious! The owners are very kind people and very helpful. They did drive us to the airport in the morning which was wonderful.

SANTI beach retreat ligger i Ban Rang Pla, en kort bit från Ao Bang Son Beach, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en terrass. Location was perfect as it was very close to the airport. We had caught a ferry from Koh Tao to Chumphon to fly to Bangkok the next morning - so location was perfect. Our room was absolutely perfect, spacious, clean and very comfortable with Netflix as well so was a perfect spot to relax until our very long flights home to South Africa.

The resort consists of 4 villas with a five minute walk to the beach. The host is extremely awesome! She does everything herself. Massages, cooking meals, cleaning and attending to everyone’s needs. She provides motorbikes for rent, bicycles and free rides to and from the airport or Pathiu train station.

Saphli Villa ligger 5 minuters bilresa från Thungwaulene Beach. Denna anläggning har bekväma, mysiga bungalower och en privat strand. Här finns gratis parkering och gratis WiFi. Very comfortable and spacious Villa. Very quiet and excellently maintained garden area. We legit had a sea view (stayed in A5 - see attached pic) and the BEACH - totally ours, perfect water; would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Nana Beach Hotel ligger i hjärtat av Thung Wua Lean Beach, 15 km från centrala Chumphon och 22 km från Chumphons flygplats. Här finns en utomhuspool och en poolbar. There has been a refurb since I last stayed, excellent value for money. Location, seconds from beach. Staff always helpful, helped me source a local garage to replace brakes on a family members motorbike.
