Set in Isando, 20 km from Johannesburg, City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport boasts an outdoor pool and fitness centre. Every room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. the hotel is just what one need if you have an early flight. What is very special is the buffet dinner. It is delicious, varied, nice and plentiful. It is extremely cheap for all you get. Don't look for another place to eat. Highly recommend.

Southern Sun offers luxury rooms with a contemporary design. It features an outdoor pool, bar area and a buffet restaurant called Bernoulli’s. Breakfast was excellent. Housekeeping omg very very neat. My bed was changed everyday. Had a lovely time in this hotel. Room service food excellent. Everything about this hotel was excellent

Protea Hotel by Marriott O R Tambo Airport is situated in Kempton Park, 3.5 km from the O.R Tambo International Airport and and 1 km from the Rhodesfield Gautrain Station. Anna, Xoli, Joaquin were amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was an unforgettable experience. Xoli is very knowledgeable about wines and recommended us fabulous Chardonnay. The food was top quality and Anna was the best breakfast host and her personality is superb! Love that the bar is 24 hours. We landed so late we were so hungry and Xoli and Joaquin took great care of us.

Dove’s Nest is located less than 2 km from OR Tambo Airport and offers a free airport shuttle. It offers a breakfast room overlooking the garden and spacious guest rooms. I am rating this from the perspective of a one-night stay, very convenient, close-to-airport for travellers that are needing an overnight transfer at JNB Tambo airport. It was clean, low-priced, included rides from/to airport, and breakfast. The staff was honest and helpful.

Airport Inn offers a free shuttle service to and from OR Tambo International Airport, 4 km away. Great property especially for the airport. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast and food was wonderful. The shuttle to and from the airport a bonus.

I was travelling with my 2 young daughters, when we entered the hotel they were very excited, and when we entered the room they danced...I regret for not staying more.
