Best shower of all the places we stayed in our four week travels around Italy. Breakfast items were in a basket in the kitchen. Consisted of two different cereals, a couple of different kinds of briocche, teas and coffee. The location was just fine, but initially difficult to find because it was a second turn you had to make after a very sharp turn so street was easy to miss. We got on the second time around, Parking for trips into the main areas of San Marino were close and had elevators to various levels within the city. San Marino is an amazing place, built on the shear granite face of a mountain.

Paola was such an amazing, friendly host! She really made my mom and I feel welcome. The apartment was clean, warm, comfortable and completely equipt with everything you may need. There's a local market nearby, but we ended up shopping in a supermarket, which is just 15 min drive away. It's not noisy and the neighbours were nice. Parking is accessible and always available. Th location was also great - just 10 minutes or so, to get to the town center and the view from Paola balcony is just stunning! I'd recommend staying here to all my friends and family!

First of all, forget any hotels or other places to stay in San Marino because this is the place. Andrea is an amazing host, he helped us with all arrangements (reservations, recommendations, bus routes) , even offered transportation back to train station but not only that, the communication with him was also amazing. His apartment is simply a wonder. The view is amazing, the utilities are excellent. Thank you Andrea! Hope to see you again soon!

The accommodations were most enjoyable. For most meals all went smoothly, however the dinner my last night wound up being a problem with the head woman at the restaurant. She was extremely rude and accusatory and screamed at me when I came immediately back to the restaurant once I walked back to my room and realized I had left my hat at the cashier’s area. She said she would check the security camera but the next morning (I was leaving that day after breakfast) when I asked what the security camera she really was extremely rude and said she worked ling hours and could not be bothered checking the security camera. I wrote an email explaining what happened and told the people at checkout what had happened. 6 days later when I was leaving San Marino, I checked back to see if my hat had turned up. She first just ignored me though she had seen me and then she and another staff member pulled a hat out of a storage place from back close to the bar area. I, of course was delighted, thanked her and went to my car and took off. Only later when i stopped for gas, and looked at the hat did I realize that the colors were the same but the brim was a flopping one rather than a stiff one like my hat. All along after the initial incident, I thiughtvshe was responsible for taking my hat - she was yelling at me that she had no need to take the hat, that she had millions and loads of diamonds, etc but I never, ever in any of my words to her had in any way accused her of anything either the night of the incident nor the next morning. As I was told when I checked out, the restaurant is an entirely different entity from the Village. All the staff at the Village were super nice!
