Nelo is an awesome host. He provided me with information on where to eat and where to buy groceries. He even offered to pick me up at the bus stop so I wouldn't have to walk in the rain. The accommodations are very clean, secure, and right on the PR1 trail that leads to the Castillo and the other trails to the schist villages.

Situated in Coentral das Barreiras, Casa Ribeira features a garden and bar. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. A beautiful setting in an interesting part of Portugal. We loved the walks/trails that were near by, we picked an abundance of fruit from the trees surrounding our accom and enjoyed great chats with our hosts. Our accomodation was extremely comfy,
