This place feels like "home away from home". Chiara and Ray are lovely hosts: we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were always very helpful. We rented the local bikes for the day and it was such a nice activity to explore the area. This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica and would recommend it to anyone passing by Puerto Viejo. It's located a bit further out from the center, next to Playa Negra, which for us was a plus. You can enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature there. It's totally safe and not so crowded like the center. The guesthouse is clean, very nicely furnished and looked after. Grazie Chiara and Ray for such a beautiful experience! We will always cherish it in our hearts xx

Super emplacement !! l’endroit est tranquille, environ à 20-25 min de marche donc juste assez loin pour être tranquille mais assez proche pour aller à puerto Viejo à pied ou en Tuk Tuk. Nous avons adoré la piscine. Service impeccable de Nabeth, elle nous guidait lorsque nous voulions faire une activité en nous conseillant et répondant à nos multiples questions. Elle nous a aussi souvent organiser nos transports.

This place is a hidden gem in Puerto Viejo with the most wonderful host. The place does not have laundry service, but when I asked for it, the owner organized it anyway so I could have clean clothes - I really appreciated that! He always offered me (and the other guest at the time) a free ride towards town whenever we were heading the same way. The view is wonderful, and the breeze is so nice. Very tranquil, the only noises I heard was from wildlife and occasionally the neighbour dogs :)

Beautiful villa surrounded by jungle and the sound of birds, monkeys and other fauna. Saw hummingbirds and other birds daily through my room window or on the terrace while having breakfast. The pool area was nice very nice. We had a car and the beach, town and supermarket was just a few minutes drive. The owner, Yuri, was kind and very helpful with anything, available 24/7 and made delicious piña colada!

We got the unit on the second floor. It had 2 bedrooms. Super comfy 200cm width bed. Fully equipped kitchen though the kitchen is outdoors, might not fit everyone. For us it was great. Barely any mosquitoes even outdoors. Nice place to buy fruits 5 minutes walk and a big organic supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The beach is very close to the flat, big waves but we built sand castles with our baby so it was fine. It was very relaxing stay in a peaceful environment. They even have a laundry machine and were very responsive to all our requests. Felt very secluded. 10 minutes walk from the Jaguar Rescue Center.

Beautiful property. There are only four rooms, giving a very quiet and cosy vibe. Rooms are well finished and well proportioned with good air con and wifi. Short walk to the town and bakery for breakfast. Really well run by a lovely, accommodating family. We were gutted to leave.
