The pool is a great extra to refresh. I am just back for the second time after a trip to Gambia river Natural Park, had no doubt on coming back again. Best quality/price you will have in the area.

By far the best place I've stayed in in the Gambia. The owner, Claudette is great, and so are the staff. Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect if, like me, you don't like resorts and want a bit of interaction with the local people. It's a residential area, far from the touts, but close enough to walk to the beach or the better restaurants. The room is great, with a well accommodated kitchen and a fridge, hot water always running, nicely decorated and a wonderful sitting area. There's also a shop that sells locally made products, like honey, yogurt and shea butter. Profits go to their organization that helps to cure burns on children. Absolutely recommended!
