Located a 12-minute from the beach and main market area, The Mayflower Heritage Villa is a cosy homestay nestled in a quiet and convenient part of Alleppey. The room was basic yet spacious and clean, and the welcome drinks and complimentary breakfast were a lovely touch. By far, the highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of Susan - she truly went above and beyond to help us make the most of our time in Alleppy - from organizing boat tours to even helping us locate some special chai to take home with us.

We found this accomodation on booking.com and gave it a try. It was a good decision, we enjoyed our stay here. The host was very welcoming, being there at our disposal but not disturbing us. Our room was simple and big and comfortable with an attached bathroom, hot water was available. I liked that all information is given in a message after booking, with clear rules, covering everything. We know what to expect and the host is very straightforward with us. The property is wonderfully placed and is located right on the backwaters, making for a very picturesque location. Jiby is also a fantastic host and helped organise our day (from arranging transportation to having a backwater tour set up). We were also provided with breakfast even though it wasn’t a part of our package. Would easily recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful and quaint place to stay.
