I've never been more welcomed anywhere in my 7 years of traveling as I was at Bongs. They are a very genuine and caring family. It's right at the peer. It's a hotspot for the locals and local business owners. It's not a luxury spot by any means, but their service, their food and their hospitality is excellent. I will surely visit again. Sam was the best host ever, she knew the best spots for snorkelling, where to go to see the plankton at night, best places to eat in town, best routes for hiking. MPai Bay is a small place but we would have had to go on private tours to do all the things we did if we hadn't had Sam's advice.

Nice place à bit away from the bar musics, to be in a peaceful place. The owner is very friendly and fluent in ebglish, always available to answer to all your questions and help you! Perfect stay to chill on the beach, snorkeling and see biolulinescent plankton!

If you are looking for an authentic island life is the place to be. We spent unforgettable vacation there. The bungalows have all you need. Comfortable beds, mosquitos net, bathroom and nice terrace. The staff and the owner are great. We made together a bbq with fresh fish and vegetables. The location was perfect, on the beach and a few minutes walk from the pier. Thank you for the smiles and the and good vibes.

Our Sunny Bungalow was exactly as we had hoped: a simple wooden hut, with a relaxing veranda, hidden among lush vegetation. We certainly weren't expecting luxury and that's probably why we found our bungalow surprisingly comfortable. Bedroom was very spacious and clean, having al the essential basics we needed for our budget beach holiday. Yes, all what’s written in other reviews about the room’s not completely closed is true, but that's what characterizes (and what we like so much about) this type of accommodation. Just don’t keep food in your bungalow and you’ll have absolutely no problem with the local wildlife. Bathroom was huge and very clean as well. Ánd made of stone, so more privacy (noise) and no walk-in/fly-in insects. It was very windy on Saracen Beach when we were there, but since the bungalows were in the backyard of the beachside café we were able to enjoy our veranda without wind. That was really nice. Service was super friendly and attentive. Dimang and his staff were always available for information and help. We were 100% happy that we chose to stay at Sunny Bungalows and would definitely book this place again on a future visit.

Everything….when I booked they sent me a message to find out what boat I was on,and they met me at pier….I stayed in a few different rooms as stayed longer than anticipated,all the rooms where comfortable,clean and tidy…Chloe & Jack were fantastic hosts,they give you all the info on what bars & restaurants are open,and if any snorkelling trips or hikes around the island.some evening they cook a family style dinner,which is nice as you all sit around big table,eat some nice food,few drinks and lots of talking and getting to know each other,was a lovely evening .will definitely be back

We spent just one night at this hotel, but it was enough to appreciate its charms. Our bungalow was comfortable, clean, and nestled in a wonderfully quiet location. It's the kind of place where you could easily imagine staying longer for a peaceful retreat.

Mela and Ian are excellent hosts, very sweet and attentive. The guesthouse is located on a quieter part of the village but still very close to the beach and everything else around. The rooms are simple, yet very comfortable. They serve some amazing dumplings, some of the best that I have ever eaten, and they are also very cheap. I've really enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to come back someday.
