Everything here was amazing. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the bus station, close to many shops, a big supermarket, the beach and the bus to the national park. It felt very luxurious inside the residence and the bed was delightful. The bathroom and shower were superb, with lots of nice touches, especially all of the creams and bathroom essentials. Most of all, what made this stay so fantastic was the excellent communication throughout, including helpful hints and places to visit. Would definitely recommend as the perfect place to stay in Sokcho!

simple room, minimalist but efficient, had all we needed, amazing view of the lake from private balcony, many storage places, free comfortable parking & washing machine. had to call the number provided on the confirmation email to find out where to park. they gave us proper info and answered all my questions.

James and his family were exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. We loved the location close to everything like the fish market, the island with an amazing history of North Korean people, beaches, lakes and so much more. And if that wasn’t enough to do the bus stop is less than a 3 minute walk out the door. We were surprised at how much there was to do in Sokcho. The hotel/hostel was clean and comfortable.
