I liked the way they looked after us. Very caring and gentle people. You feel in good hands. We had dinner and breakfast and meals were delicious. Athmosphere was relaxing, music was lovely, enjoyed an early morning coffee by the river bank with a super view. Will definitely come back again next year.

I really wanted to stay in Orsova as when driving through it a month before I simply was astounded by the location! And as we were driving across Europe it had to be planned exactly. We arrived in the hotel late in the evening which is not advisable as streets are not well lit and you really don't know where you are going. Once we were welcomed by the host we saw that the room was better than expected! Extremely spacious, refurbished and very clean! When we woke up the following morning only then we saw the beauty of the location! Just by the river, in between the mountains! Speechless! Very well taken care of, flowers everywhere ! We had to hit the road in the morning but if we could we would stay longer! Our dog enjoyed it too but had to keep a close eye on him as without a doubt he would jump in the river as he cannot hold himself!

Nice garden with an open hut and a small pool right next to the Danube. You can use the communal kitchen which is shared with other guests. Nice old furniture in the rooms.
