The property has authentic houses made from local materials. It’s an unique experience. The location is hidden and the sea view was beautiful. The staff is friendly and always looking for ways to go above an beyond your expectations.

Excellent location. Massive space and huge covered verandah with the best sea views. Disregard any negative comments about this place. It’s simply the best value in Stonetown. Highly recommended.

A gem in stonetown! Perfect location, walking distance to all points of interest. The place was beautiful and clean, the rooms super cozy and the staff very friendly. There is public parking close by in case you have a car.

I stayed at Zava House over two periods and can really recommend it to anyone. Nice place and really welcoming and helpful staff! The hostel is placed close to everything in Stonetown but still in a quiet area. If I’m coming back to Zanzibar I’ll definitely stay here again.
