Lovely family run Homestay with very humble owners. Our room was big, comfortable, everything worked and whilst possibly considered more 'basic' was perfect for myself and my daughter. Hot water shower, super clean bedroom and bathroom, good lighting, useful TV with decent channels for the evenings, air con AMAZING and a very good fan also. Lots of towels. I LOVE the VN mattresses, super firm and a great nights sleep. The pillows were OK but we are very fussy about pillows. Wif worked well. Also worth mentioning is that this homestay is very very well designed. There are no external windws in the rooms and the rooms come off a dark cool corridor (also with no windows) - at our visit Dong Hoi waa ridicualously hot and humid; going back to the homestay was excellent and cool, the room wasnt too hot at all :-) Highly recommedn this place, we stayed for longer and will certainly have good memeories form here and return if we come back to Dong Hoi for a third time. Thankyou.

My stay at the seaside homestay was exceptional, thanks to the warm hospitality of Uyen, the manager. Her helpfulness was remarkable, providing invaluable assistance with local insights and needs. The guest room was a sanctuary of cleanliness and comfort, exuding a home-like feel that was instantly welcoming. Its location by the sea offered soothing views and a serene atmosphere. Uyen’s passionate commitment to guest satisfaction, combined with the pristine and homely environment, made this homestay a memorable retreat. Highly recommended for a delightful and restful experience.

Zuhayr Regatul Unit

Unfortunately I only stayed here one night and left early in the morning for a day tour of phong Nha caves. Easily the nicest hostel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam. The owner was so lovely and checked me in at 2am when my bus was delayed… the dorm was very nice with a hot shower. I didn’t get to take full advantage of this place but it was lovely. She let me leave my bag until 10pm before taking the night train to Ninh Binh.
