The owner, Levi, was very friendly and helpful. He reached out before we arrived to check if we needed help with transportation and tours. He was always available for any questions we had. The location was perfect. It was right on the river - beautiful view from our room and from the eating area. The room was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. We were able to rent a motorbike from Levi to check out Paradise Cave in our own. He helped us book a tour to Ruc Mon Cave. Both were incredible. He also helped us arrange a very early morning transfer to the train station at 4am.

Super nice hosts and the breakfast is awesome. They even offered transport from/to bus free of charge, but since it's only about 600m we decided to walk. The room we stayed is was quite big with 2 queensize bed for 2 people.

The staffs were super friendly and helpful during our stay. Even before the trip, they gave us many recommendations, and booked the tour for us. We felt the strong hospitality at Funny Monkeys.

This is lovely, family run accommodation, with stunning views across the river. Mr Ha was incredibly helpful, arranging transfers for us, and a welcome early check in. Our room was beautiful - clean and spacious - and the location is so tranquil we regretted that we could only stay one night. Excellent food too!

- They picked us up from the bus on motorbikes (probably won’t work if you have suitcases but we had backpacks!) - Helped us when we got food poisoning with medicine and bananas - Playing tag with the little kids was fun - Organised a cheap taxi to Dong Hoi for us cos there was no bus for a long time - The view from our room was SPECTACULAR - The bathroom is really big and there was everything we needed - The beds were really big and comfy - Organised cheap scooter for us for 150k per day

My stay here was absolutely awesome. All the travelers that were there were like a small family to me. Even the owner picked me up from the bus for free and took every guest to their buses for free as well. Dinner was delicious, they can make vegan food with tofu and rice. Also, it has some hammocks next to the river and the views are great. I would have stayed for a week if I could!

We had a lovely stay at the little leaf Homestay. The rooms are located directly in front of the river and a mountain and therefore the view is amazing. The host is the nicest person and gives you bicycles for free to get into town. Thank you so much for the amazing stay :)

I enjoyed everything.It has to be the Premium Location in Phong Nha.Amazing View.Close but also far away enough from Town Centre.Breakfast was basic but so tasty.I found it incredible value for $$.Staff were very pleasant and helpful.Especially Yen who had good English and was so helpful with my day tour and Sleeper Bus Bookings.It was without doubt my favourite place so far in Vietnam and I will come back to relax for 3-4 nights in the Future.I’d say don’t miss Phong Nha on your Vietnam Holiday and definitely stay at Areca Bungalows..
