Everything was perfect, the personeal, the food that they cooked for us, the service was splendid, Levi was so kind and helpful all the time. The rooms were unique and clean, the view beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel!!! They made us feel welcomed and like a family!!!

Das pessoas sem dúvida, o funcionário que nos recebeu não sabia falar inglês mas a sua vontade de servir era enorme. Foi nos buscar de Mota à paragem de autocarro. Compramos um pacote para as grutas foi bastante bom. O nosso pacote foi ir a um Safari ver animais e a uma cascata, e duas grutas depois, Paradise cave e Phong Nan cave. Recomendo a ficarem pelo menos 2 dias e 2 noites neste local. O restaurante ao lado que nos foi recomendado era optimo, por não me lembrar do nome deixo uma dica “tinha bilhar em baixo e um andar de cima onde se comia”

Funny Monkeys is the perfect home stay located in Phong Nha. It was clean, our room was comfortable and provided all the necessities for a 2 night stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, assisting us in organising taxi transfers and booking a tour to the caves. Funny Monkeys is situated right on the riverside which makes for a beautiful back drop and the resident dog, Coca is adorable. I also appreciated the laundry service provided by the staff, and the communications with Thuy prior to our arrival. Phong Nha is our favourite location so far in our travels through Vietnam and this is definitely attributable to the wonderful stay we had in Funny Monkeys. Added bonus: the home stay is environmentally conscious and tries to reduce waste which is important to me as a consumer.

Location Location Location The views of the river and karst mountains is exceptional Lovely family, helped organise tours and buses. Plus they pick you up from the bus stop!

René and his family welcomed us on their property and took excellent care of us. The location is paradise-like with views over the infinity pool out over the rice fields on to the mountains. The rooms were cozy and well equipped and the meals were delicious. Rene’s knowledge of the surroundings and experience as tour guide allowed us to skip all the organized groups and tackle the surrounding attractions on our own on one of their motorbikes giving us much more freedom and flexibility. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the fresh air in Phong Nha!

This was a great spot to spend a night before and after a cave tour with Oxalis! The views are INCREDIBLE and can't be beat and the family that runs it is very kind! The bungalow was clean, had a good amount of space, and powerful AC. We enjoyed many meals here and the pho was delicious and the coffee was nice and strong! They only accept cash, so come prepared so you don't have to quickly bike down the street (they have some free bikes) to the ATM to get cash before your car to the airport leaves (they helped us arrange this)!
