We had the whole ground floor of the house to ourselves, including our own kitchen and outdoor seating area. Home is < 100 feet from the lake front with a lovely public lawn on the water to sit in. Host was incredibly kind and accommodating - she did a load of laundry for us as we were in the middle of a long trip, and offered to pick up groceries we needed from Lidl as the store in town is quite expensive. Lots of pamphlets in the house with information on nearby excursions and other activities.

A sun terrace with panoramic views of lake Thun and the surrounding mountains is provided at B&B Haussener, which also offers a room with free WiFi and a flat-screen internet TV. - The owners are extremely helpful, always ready to provide support, and create an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. - The location is amazing, located on a mountain with well-maintained roads and very easily accessible by car. - There are outdoor seating areas that offer beautiful views of the lake and surrounding the countryside. - Free parking is available, and it's lovely to have cows nearby in the parking area. - The breakfast is well served and provides various options to choose from. - The bathroom is wide and equipped with all the necessary facilities.

Apartment was spacious and clean. Kitchenette was well equipped. Big, comfy bed. Small terrace overlooking railway lines and lake. Easy check in and out process. Others have noted noise from the railway, but we didn't find this an issue at all.

Annelis was a fabulous host and we had a very comfortable stay. The view was stunning - the marina, the lake and the mountains. It was a short walk into the main part of town and there were restaurants and a lovely park right by the apartment. The wharf was a 2 minute walk where boats to Interlaken and Thun departed. On the other side of the marina was a gorgeous walk around the lake to the next town. The beds were comfy and the two bathrooms / one toilet was fine for the 3 of us. The fruit and chocolate treats were a nice touch and appreciated after a long trip. It was cosy and warm and the loungeroom was relaxing. This was the highlight of our 6 week trip!
