Very helpful and relaxed and they do washing too! They also generously let us pay via PayPal because there is no cash machine in the village and we were low on cash. ( We are stupid British tourists). They have the most adorable dog and cats! The breakfast pizza we had was the best breakfast we've had from any hostel we have stayed in this trip! I don't usually write reviews regularly but because the family went above and beyond for us. :) Thank you! Bryn and Emma x

Refugio Mr Jerry Eco Hostal se află pe malul mării în Bahía Solano și include o terasă. Biroul de turism îi poate ajuta pe oaspeți să planifice activități în zonă. Super friendly staff, serving great food from their own kitchen, they have a really good chef. The owner made the best out of my trip and gave me many recommendations and did also a whale watching tour. I felt personally appreciated to be there.

The Pelican House Hostel se află în El Valle și include un centru de fitness, o grădină, o terasă și un bar. Proprietatea pune la dispoziție o bucătărie comună și un birou de turism. The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) offers pet-friendly, beachfront accommodations in El Valle - Bahia Solano. We had a fantastic 4-night stay at El Morro Hosteria in El Valle. Monica, the owner, is a wonderful host, and the ocean-view room was perfect. The spacious rooms are cleaned daily, a kitchen is available, and Monica prepares delicious breakfasts. Her organized trips, including whale watching, were a highlight. El Valle offers a peaceful, non-touristy experience. Plus, the presence of six friendly cats and a lovely dog added to the charm. Highly recommended!

Popochos Beach Eco-Lodge se află în Nuquí și are vedere la mare, precum și o grădină. Unele unități includ de asemenea o bucătărie cu un frigider. Wow, what an amazing place! Both the lodge and the area itself. It was way better and way less complicated and "rough" than I thought so I'll leave a detailed review. I flew to Nuqui from Medellin EOH in 30 min with Clic air/ex-EasyFly (which I recommend, they have new ATRs, bigger planes than others flying here which is helpful if you get turbulence along the way). Flights were on time both ways. After you pay the Nuqui entrance tax, you turn slightly left and then right and walk 2-300 meters to the tourist port/muelle turístico. Claro and Tigo have coverage here but if you have another Colombian SIM you are covered too due to Roaming Automático Nacional (I got H+ speeds with my SIM from WOM, not sure if having a SIM from Claro gets you 4G or the same; speed was enough for browsing and posting pics, don't think it works for video call). Previously you would have messaged the host (on wapp) who sends a boat/lancha to pick you up. 2-3$ and 10 min later (this trips itself is nice) you are at the lodge. The tent I had was right by the beach and the area had hammocks and a comunal, new and clean, bathroom/shower area. Shower water is not hot but not cold either, it feels fresh. You can buy food, drinks, water, coconut etc from the host, very affordable. This stretch of beach can be reached only by boat and the accommodation is the only one in the area so you'll have kms of beach by yourself (+ crabs/cangrejos haha). It's very easy to travel to Nuqui, the lancha that got you here can be called for you by the host (Niqui has more places to eat, grocery stores, pharmacy etc so no need to overplan things like I did haha; host can help you to even get food delivery from Nuqui!). The whale watching tour that the host booked for me was very nice too and not only it includes whale (and dolphins!) watching but it also goes to a nice, more populated beach area and to Termales.

The place is very isolated and accessible by 2h hike on the beach. Even more there you got a Mirador this is the place to be in El Valle if you're looking for rest, tranquility or unusual experience. Moreover Doña Ne is taking care of you as wanted.

HOSTAL EL DESCANSO se găsește la 6 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Capurganá și are o grădină, un lounge comun și o bucătărie comună. Oaspeții au la dispoziție WiFi gratuit în întreaga proprietate. The owner was amazing!! He brought us coffee, was super smiley and made us feel super at home. The rooms were perfect and it was such a good price!

Hostal Portal Del Sol se găsește în Capurganá, la mai puțin de 1 km de Plaja Capurganá, și oferă o grădină, o terasă și vedere la munte. Portal del Sol is a hidden jewel! It is run by the most adorable couple, Carlos and Maricela, who were very helpful, attentive to the needs of their guests, and kind. Portal del Sol is tucked away in a lush garden setting and is located adjacent to the Sapzurro trailhead. It is quiet and peaceful, and an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Capurgana and to the beach. When I first arrived, Carlos gave me a tour of Capurgana, pointing out places to eat, swim, shop and how to find my way back to Portal del Sol. Hint! Look for the blue wall. My room was clean and simple with everything a person needs to be comfortable - bed, fan, shower and toilet. Now let’s talk about the breakfasts. THE BREAKFASTS!!! They were incredible, with something different and unique every day, including fresh juice from one of Carlos and Maricela’s many fruit trees. Breakfast often included a traditional Colombian dish, too. So good and filling, you won’t need to eat again until dinnertime. And you get to enjoy your breakfast in their lovely garden - the perfect way to start your day! Portal del Sol is a small establishment, with just 3 (or maybe 4 ) cabins. Everything was well-cared for, tidy and super safe. I stayed at Portal del Sol six nights and could have easily stayed much longer because it was so comfortable and because of the hospitality of Carlos and Maricela.

Casa de Vacaciones ECOWASI VERAS se găsește în Capurganá, la aproximativ 7 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Capurganá, și are unități de cazare cu WiFi gratuit și zonă de relaxare. The location is good - on the outskirts of Capurgana (it can get noisy at night closer to the center), close to jungle. The kitchen is a bit basic but ok. The terrace with hammocks is nice.
